3 Ways to Style a Puffer Vest

This year we're excited to add a new classic cold-weather style to our Essential Outerwear collection that we can't live without when the temperature starts to dip. Our new puffer vests for men and women have arrived to keep you warm to the core without warming up the planet with mindful manufacturing practices and planet-friendly materials. Sustainable Materials

Recycled Materials — Made from 100% recycled plastic bottles, we were able to divert waste away from landfills to create the shell, lining and insulation of these vests. Here’s how many bottles we recycled for each style:

• 26 bottles were used to make the women's vest
• 32 bottles were used to make the men's vest

Cruelty-Free — For the insulation, we skipped the down feathers and left the ducks alone. Instead, we used PrimaLoft®, which is a vegan, toxin-free, cruelty-free alternative that's also made from recycled single-use water bottles. Toxin-Free — On the outside, we added a PFC-free DWR coating for enhanced water resistance. A DWR finish helps water bead off your vest, and PFC-free means that conventional toxic chemicals that harm the environment weren't used. Safer For The Environment - All the materials for these vests were made in bluesign® certified facilities, which are held to the highest standards of safety, environmental impact and responsible resource use.
